But, your Cara Clyne Exclusive bridal trial, my beautiful bride, will be oh-so-refreshingly different.
Not only will you not be rushed or squeezed into a minuscule 60-minute trial, but you’ll also find me to be a keen listener and an empathetic expert.

You’ll meet with me for a personal consultation. You’ll share your vision, the styles you’ve got in mind and have been bookmarking for months.
You’ll hear me share what I feel would be the best option given your dress, body type, hair type, and length.
You and I will decide on one hairstyle to try out. And then, we'll make magic.
We'll try hair accessories or your veil to see the complete look.
And when you go back home, not only will you have the hairstyle you've dreamed about but also photos of the trial session to keep as references.

She is super organised and leading up to the big day, she was very helpful to help confirm the best time to have the trial, provide a run sheet, provide clear instructions on hair preparation and extremely responsive to all of our questions and emails. On top of that, she is also the loveliest person to work with!! She was prompt, funny and made us feel at ease while we got ready in the morning. Her craftsmanship is also next level and I received so many compliments! The Cara Clyne Bridal Trial Experience: This is a personal consultation and a 2-hour session to help you find the perfect style for your big day.
Veil Styling Session: On the day of the wedding, I will personally put the veil on for you so it will be secure and look perfect. Your hairstyle and you will both look stunning.
The Cara Clyne Bridal Photo Experience: On the day of your wedding, you’ll have peace-of-mind knowing that I’ll stay back for 1.5 hours after you’re ready to give touch-ups and ensure your bridal party and you are picture-perfect!

Can I get a trial first and then, book you?
Unfortunately no. However, I understand your concerns which is why I’m inviting you to review my Instagram page to not only see the styles I do but also hear from more brides.
My bridal trials are only for clients who have booked and placed a deposit.
I just need a simple style. Do I really need a bridal trial?
A bridal trial is not an extra step. It’s an ESSENTIAL step.
The reason it's compulsory for ALL brides and why I give the appointment so much time is that it’s important to talk about what you like and don’t like.
Because, sometimes you think you might like something, but then when you try it on, you realise it doesn’t suit you.
Having a trial appointment will help you better understand what works and what doesn’t. This gives you the confidence and peace-of-mind needed on the day of the wedding.
When is a good time to do a bridal hair trial?
I recommend doing your bridal hair trial about 3 months from the wedding date. BUT don’t leave it for the last month.
With about 12 weeks to go for the wedding, you would have had almost everything locked in.
You’ll have a good understanding of how your gown, your makeup, styling for the event will look like, etc., and this helps with choosing the best hairstyle that suits the theme of the wedding and compliments you the most.
Do I need to pay extra for a hair trial?
The normal cost of a bridal trial is $300. If you wish to try 2 hairstyles it will cost $450 and we will need to allow about 3 hours for this.
Can I try 2 hairstyles at the bridal trial?
If you would like to try out two looks, please get in touch with me so we can organise additional time. Extra cost will apply as I need to allow more time for this appointment.
Can my mum or bridesmaids have a hair trial too?
Bridal trials are exclusively for brides only so I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to extend trials to other members of the bridal party.
How much is the deposit?
If you are happy with the proposal and would like to secure your wedding date, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required immediately after you’ve signed the contract. This is deducted from your total invoice.
Can I make changes to my booking after paying the deposit?
Yes, you can. You may add additional services if time allows but you can’t remove services.
You may also change the ‘getting ready’ time as long as I’m able to start after 7 AM.
If it’s a big bridal party and you are required to finish earlier, you will be charged an assistant fee to help speed up the hairstyling process.
Your ‘getting ready’ location may also change and I will revise the travel fee accordingly.
How much time will it take for you to style everyone’s hair on the wedding day?
It will depend on the hairstyle and once we’ve decided on the styles, I’ll give you a more accurate estimate of time.
For example, ponytails and Hollywood waves will be more time consuming than upstyles. Usually, I allow 1 - 1.5 hours for the bride, and 45 minutes - 1 hour for everyone else.
If members in your bridal party need to have hair extensions applied, I’ll add on an extra 15 minutes per person.
Can I book you to just do my hair and not everyone else’s?
You can absolutely do that but my minimum booking is still $1,400 per wedding because I only take one wedding a day. Unless your wedding is between Monday to Thursday, then I can offer $700 for bride only + travel fees.
Will you be there for me when I’m getting photos taken?
Yes! My brides love that I’m not rushing off for another job or that they have to travel to meet me. I *only* book ONE wedding a day.
I’ll be there at your getting ready location to do your hair.
After that, I will stay for an extra 1.5 hours to help you while you are getting dressed and having photos taken.
I’m there to make sure you look perfect in all your getting ready photographs until you need to leave to walk down the aisle.
Do you take bookings for special occasions or events?
Unfortunately, I only offer hair education and wedding services. I don't offer individual appointments for special occasions or events.
